Dr Cornelius is really good at putting a patient at ease, showing understanding and concern for a patient's needs and concerns, knowledge of the patient's medical history and response to treatment, and very good at prescribing goals and action plans for future treatment. Both he and Ayenna are always prompt in responding to questions through the portal, as well as requests for prescription refill orders. This team is by far the best I have experienced for primary care in over 10 years and I am so glad I found them!

Patient Feedback to Administration - Yearly Check-Up Visit (March 25, 2026)I am writing to provide formal feedback about my recent experience with the Carondelet Medical Group, specifically regarding the handling of requested lab testing by Dr. Cornelius's assistant, Aryanna S.To summarize the situation: On January 5, 2026, I contacted Aryanna S. prior to my visit specifically to ensure the Lipoprotein(a) / Lp(a) test would be ordered, as I am a long-term vegan wanting to assess my personal heart disease risk. She assured me the test "was ordered." During my March 25, 2026 appointment with Dr. Cornelius, we again discussed the Lp(a) test and he confirmed it would be included in the blood draw. I even noted it as "already requested" in my recap message that same day. When I followed up through the patient portal because I had not received the result, Aryanna S. sent me back the January 2026 Hidden Health Risk Screening report - which was actually the paperwork I had originally provided to the office myself for their records. She presented it as if it were the new test I had been requesting.This was not the Lp(a) test. The test was never ordered or performed, despite multiple assurances and direct discussion with the physician.I am extremely disappointed with the level of service provided by Dr. Cornelius's assistant, Aryanna S. She did a very poor job of listening to my needs, gave false assurances that the test had been ordered, created a significant amount of unnecessary confusion, and was neither clear nor helpful. It appears she does not fully understand the requests being made or how to properly follow through on them.This experience has caused unnecessary delays in my care and has left me feeling frustrated and unsupported. As a patient, I expect basic administrative tasks - such as accurately ordering a requested lab test - to be handled professionally and reliably.I hope this feedback is reviewed and used to improve training and processes within the office so other patients do not experience similar issues.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Jason Wolf

Awesome Dr. He listened and showed genuine interest in patient's concerns, family, life, etc.Staff was awesome as well.Everything was efficient.Happy to be brought in such a short time, conditions/concerns were addressed promptly, referrals made on the spot. I'm still waiting for referred clinics/services to call to schedule.Very comprehensive visits. I am very confident Dr. Cornelius will be a great Dr for me.

Couldn't be more pleased.Had my knee rebuilt at St. Joes in Dec. The surgeon was great the rehab tech was great the office staff very friendly and the nurses were really good . Each visit it just keeps getting better and better. Next will be an ofthamoligist for cataracts. I expec that care will also be top notch.

Dr Cornelius' people skills are very well mastered. I have surveyed a number of clinicians in the community. As a rule have not been overly impressed, especially in primary care. Dr Cornelius is without a doubt the very best I have met in the 10 years I've resided in the community.

I am a retired Family Practice physician, I managed as many as ten physicians and a staff of 30. I would have aggressively recruited Dr Cornelius. In my opinion he is a physician "10" rating. I have referred 6 residents of Oro Valley to schedule appointments ASAP with Dr Cornelius. His practice will likely fill to capacity in a very short time.
